Miracles Update

Standard

Give thanks to the Lord, call on his name; make known among the nations what he has done. Sing to him, sing praise to him; tell of all his wonderful acts. Glory in his holy name; let the hearts of those who seek the Lord rejoice. Look to the Lord and his strength; seek his face always. Remember the wonders he has done, his miracles, and the judgments he pronounced…              Ps. 105:1-5

A few months ago I posted about a baby needing prayer. About faith-filled parents, on their knees, asking God to heal their infant son.

I believe that God has answered.

Just yesterday I received this update about baby Andrew:

Andrew just had his two month check up with the pediatrician. If a check up were a test, then Andrew passed with flying colors! He is within normal weight and height, he coos, he smiles, he looks at my face, he focuses on objects, and can hold his head up well. The doctor particularly checked his body muscle tone looking for signs of cerebral palsy. She would have at least expected tighter ankle joints she said, but everything is checking out normal! God is amazing!

We will still have a hearing test coming up Aug. 19th, an eye test in the fall, and blood work, physio and another pediatrician visit when Andrew is 4 months old.

I almost cried for pure joy when I read this. I praised God for miracles. There is no other way to explain the amazing progress that their son has made despite his diagnosis at birth.

Faith. Prayer. Asking for miracles…. and seeing God work them!

The Lord has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy.        Ps.127:3
